Released on April 26, 2006 this unique documentary is probably one of the best gangster movies ever made. Director Billy Corben gathered former drug dealers, gangsters and lawyers, such as Jon Roberts, Al Sunshine, Sam Burstyn, and created a documentary about the Miami cocaine and drug war back in the 70’s and 80’s. The IMDB rating of this film is 7.9 and it has duration of almost 2 hours. As it is one of the top rated gangster movies, it is definitely worth to watch.

“Reservoir Dogs” is the second Quentin Tarantino movie on our best gangster films list. The suspicion of the gang members that there is a “mole” among them after the failed heist makes this movie exciting and one of the top 100 IMDB rated films with a rating of 8.4. This Martin Scorsese-directed movie was released on September 26, 2006. The characters are constantly outplaying each other and are giving this film a dynamic pace. The duration of this movie is two and a half hour and you should probably spare some time to watch it.
